Our StoryThe Helena Snowdrifters Snowmobile Club is located in Helena, Montana the heart of snowmobile country. We have over 250 miles of groomed trails in three different trail systems and untold miles of ungroomed trails. Our organization supports other local clubs and works hand in hand with the US Forest Service and the Montana State Fish Wildlife and Parks to promote snowmobile safety and a good outdoor experience.
Trails and Safety Besides trail grooming for MFWP, the club provides support for safety and survival training, trail maintenance, avalanche awareness, trail and map marking, trash cleanup, weed spraying, trailhead marking, sign placement, legislative rides, legislative lobbying, poker run support, and parking lot maintenance as well as snowmobile safety instruction for children. Club Rides One of our annual events, the Helena Snowdrifters Charity Ride, formerly "Women on Snow" held on Super Bowl Sunday, has been a great success and grows each year. It is attended by riders from all over Montana. Additionally, we also conduct and provide support for fun runs, family rides, and other events such as the Trans-Montana Charity Ride. The Helena Snowdrifters is a Montana non-profit corporation and a federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt corporation. Est: 1970 |
